Repairs in our own workshop
We are trained by several of the brands we carry, and we repair TUMI, Samsonite and KKDK, among others. We can often replace wheels and locks while you wait, if we have the parts in stock.
About the repair service -
Damage claims with airlines
We work with SAS, Lufthansa, KLM and Icelandair, among others, on damage claims. With a valid damage report, we can in some cases settle directly with the airline.

Suitcase assessment
A professional assessment takes about 20 minutes and costs 350 kr. If you buy a new suitcase from us within 6 months, you get the amount back as a discount.

Family business
Suitcases are a family affair
Suitcases run in Peter Bachmann's family. His parents, Lene and Claus Bachmann, founded the wholesale company Kuffert Kompagniet A/S, and Peter was only 11 days old the first time he went on a round-the-world trip with his own suitcase.
After more than 25 years in the business, we still hand-pick every single suitcase we sell, and we make sure it can be serviced if something goes wrong.

When is the store open?
Monday to Friday from 10 to 18 and Saturday from 10 to 15. We are closed on Sundays.
Where is the store?
At Vesterbrogade 6D, 1620 København V, right across from Copenhagen Central Station.
Can you repair my suitcase?
Yes. We repair TUMI, Samsonite and KKDK, among others, in our own workshop. In many cases we can carry out the repair while you wait, if we have the spare parts in stock. For repairs in our own workshop, you can get a price estimate before we start.
My suitcase was damaged on the flight. What should I do?
Report the damage to the airline and get a damage report. Most airlines give you at least 7 days after you get home to report the damage. With a valid damage report, we can in some cases settle directly with the airline.
Can I shop tax free?
If you have a residence permit outside the EU and your purchase is over 300 kr incl. VAT, you can get the VAT refunded. Either through Planet Taxfree at the airport, or the full VAT back to a Danish bank account against a customs-stamped invoice within 90 days.
What does it cost to have a suitcase looked at if it was not bought from you?
If the item was not bought from us, we charge a handling fee of 350 kr incl. VAT. If the item was bought from us and is covered by the warranty, there is usually no charge.
